2024 - JANUARY FULL MOON

Hi everyone!

At 12:54 pm (EDT) on Thursday January 25th 2024, join me in welcoming the first full moon to start the year!  This moon is known as the Wolf Moon, named after hungry wolves who tend to howl more during the frigid winter months. 

This month's full moon will be in the proud and confident sign of Leo as she travels through the progressive and innovative sign of Aquarius, which rules science and technology.  This means we get to feel these two sign's characteristics as they influence our own individual sun sign during the full moon.  

Expect to notice a sense of passionate energy surrounding where our interests are currently focused - that may be with a relationship, hobby, career, or family life.   We may notice that we put on a "brave" front, possibly wanting to turn away and hide from our true feelings.  "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.".  This is a time where we should look within and allow our feelings to be felt.  Then, we must use those feelings to speak up and establish our mark. 

When the moon is in Leo, it makes us sense our emotions much more deeply.  We may even notice our feelings bubble to the surface so much easier.  This is for us to pay attention and examine the root of what is driving those emotions, including those feelings that we are experiencing with loved ones. 

What we strongly believe in can also become the topic of discussions at this time.  With our farthest ‘planet’ Pluto having just entered into Aquarius (which rules science and technology), we will be pushed to start anew. This will be a massive year of change.  
We may notice that our conversations may get heated due to this shift.  This is a cue for us to stay mindful and express our feelings and opinions from a place of loving energy.  This is a lesson for us all to notice that through all the chaos that this year may bring, we must make a conscious decision to articulate our words thoughtfully with the understanding that how we express ourselves impacts others, sending that energy out into the world.  We must choose wisely how to converse, doing so with a loving heart!  After all, we are all connected to that energy.

Finally, we must take advantage of tonight and tomorrow's full moon glow to recharge our crystals.  Please remember to rinse off any dust from crystals, and then place them on the window ledges so that they can easily regain their beneficial healing properties from the moon's glow.
