2021 NOVEMBER FULL MOON & LUNAR ECLIPSE
Full Moon November 2021
What a ride this year has been! With only two full moons left in 2021, I’m certain we can use her beautifully strong energy to our advantage to end this year on a positive note.
This full moon was commonly identified as the Beaver moon because because it was the last chance Early Americans had to set their traps before water froze (☹). The moon arrives on November 19th at 3:58am. As with all full moons, we will feel a need to release anything that no longer serves us so that we can make space for a more enriching life. And we all know, when we end something in our lives, it allows new energy to flow to us. That reminds me of another saying with the same message: When a door closes, God opens a window.
This full moon falls in the sign of Taurus which centers us around self-worth, love, and money. If there are any uneasy feelings we are experiencing, they will more than likely fall in those three areas.
We may feel a wee bit more inclined to put our fun before work during this phase. Sadly, if we do so, we will only have to deal with the fall out later. This is a time to look at where we are spending our money and review our budgets so that we don’t turn to impulse shopping as a way to get a ‘quick fix’ of pleasure. Yes, it’s true, impulse shopping is can be a symptom of deprivation in other areas of our lives.
This full moon will also be accompanied by a partial lunar eclipse, which starts at 2:18am on November 19th, lasting for about 6 hours. Get ready folks, this will turn up any emotions we have even further! We may feel overwhelmed from its intensity, so it’s a perfect time for us to harness this energy and create some powerful change in our lives. Try using this energy to dive into some self-expressive project or hobby. It is best to put all this tension to use or we may just get downright frustrated and moody. The more we can accept theses feeling and flow with them, instead of against them, the easier it will be.
This full moon in Taurus will likely enable us all to speak our truth! Taurus rules the throat chakra so we will stand up to speak about our needs and values. On a purely health-minded note, remember that the throat chakra requires fluid to hydrate the area, so drink lots of water and “try” to avoid dehydrating fluids like alcohol and coffee.
So, embrace this Taurus full moon and all it brings in! Stabilizing ourselves a bit will likely mend the wonky areas that are out of balance, so that we can start again full on toward a major goal we have been aching to achieve.
Until next month!
